Beats of Rage è una versione per Dos ma che gira altrettanto bene su Windows 95 e 98, ma una ulteriore versione specifica per Windows 2000 e XP è in via di sviluppo. Comunque, se avete Windows 2000 o XP potete provare ad usare un emulatore di Dos (DOSBox 0.61) scaricabile dalla sezione utility e Patch in basso. Questo bellissimo gioco è stato realizzato da dei fans che non vedendo arrivare su Pc la versione 4 di Streets of Rage hanno deciso di realizzarne loro una versione adattata. Sul sito degli autori sono disponibili anche delle versioni per Dreamcast, PlayStation 2 e Xbox.

Beats of Rage was created by team Senile (that's us). However, the character sprites and some parts of the backgrounds are taken from 'the King of Fighters' games by SNK Playmore.
The DOS, Dreamcast and Playstation 2 versions of
Beats of Rage are fully completed. The game is fully functional, includes music, and features six playable levels plus a bonus level.
The DOS version can also be used on Windows 95 and Windows 98.
A true Windows version (required for Windows 2000 and XP) is still under development.
