Battle Painters è un semplice ma altrettanto divertente gioco d'azione multiplayer (si può giocare fino a un massimo di 4 giocatori) in cui chi dipinge la percentuale più alta del campo di gioco vince. Ma a
Battle Painters si può giocare anche in single player (contro il computer) e presenta due modalità di gioco: Battle Mode e Ranking Mode. Nella prima si gioca contro la CPU o contro degli amici, mentre nella seconda si gioca da soli e si cerca di dipingere quanta più superficie è possibile.
